What We Do

At Learning Works, we provide reading help, (which encompasses dyslexia intervention), educational therapy, and testing and evaluation. We work with students with a variety of learning differences, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, comprehension, and ADHD. If you’re local, we can provide services in person. If not, we have developed ways to make our remote sessions highly effective, hands-on, interactive, and feeling like we’re sitting across the table from your child.

Our practice brings over thirty years of experience and a multi sensory approach to help students and families tackle learning differences. We provide life-long tools for our students and actionable steps forward for parents and caregivers.

Reading Help

We utilize a multisensory structured literacy approach that works for people with dyslexia, as well as non-dyslexics who struggle with reading, writing, spelling, handwriting, math, and other academic subjects.

Educational Therapy

The focus of this one-on-one intervention is to address the underlying causes of learning difficulties, rather than simply treating the symptoms.

Testing & Evaluation

A thorough psycho-educational evaluation provides a road map for how to plan intervention for a struggling learner.
